I am an Oregon native, which by definition tends to mean the following things:

- My toes are webbed at least 7 months out of the year
- I prefer being outdoors to being indoors
- I find most animals better company than most people
- My skin is a pasty white

..And can optionally mean these things:

- I distrust most corporations because of what I've seen them to do my family and my friends
- I know a good beer (and know how to make one)
- I have never known the definition of cool
- Things are often done for the sheer fun of it, rather than the money the fame or the chicks
- I prefer fresh, full-flavored food to the freeze-dried deep-fried bleached-and-colored variety

I work in the computer industry. I do it for the money. I tried doing it for the chicks, but yeah... I used to do it for the fun, until I realized it would be way more fun to be doing many other things, save for the fact that many of them involve spending copious amounts of money rather than making it. I would do my job for the fame -- and some times I do -- but really, what good is fame unless you a) are making way more money than an engineer would and b) have a steady following of groupies?

Oh yeah, I also like cheese. And chocolate. And tea. A lot.
